What a wonderful place the husband and wife team were very friendly and helpful the food was delicious!! I had a catfish Poor boy and Shrimp and sausage jambalaya also red beans and rice!! Definitely will be going back to the Louisiana cookery in Somerset NY !!!

This food is amazing, Don't know who the person was that gave a bad review but I have ordered everything on there menu and it is great! The owners are super cool and friendly. You want great food, this is your place.

I had never been to the buffalo location, but happened to drive by the new Barker location and did the quickest u-turn at the prospect of etouffee. I am glad I did! Tried the crawfish etouffee as well as the shrimp, sausage, and chicken gumbo. The food was deliciously prepared, and most diners will not find it unmanagebly spicy - hot sauce available for pepper heads. The owners were extremely friendly. The current locations is a quaint roadside eatery a stones throw from Lake Ontario, it’s a great vibe.

This establishment does not offer dine inbut the food is delicious and tastes like proper southern fare. Ordered a bit of everything but the standout was the shrimp and grits. I have spent extensive time in the Carolinas and this is on par with family owned restaurants in the deep South. Well done!

Just found this place and it's a shame that they're moving because my girlfriend and I loved it. I recommend the crawfish bread and the shrimp and grits. Service was also great and they bring the food out to your car.

First time ordering from here. The staff was VERY friendly and extremely nice. I have to say I am very impressed with the food. It was very good !! The seasoning was perfect for my taste. I will definitely go back for more. I would go more often unfortunately it is about a 20 or 30 minute drive for me. Please open up a spot in the southtowns there is nothing out here like your restaurant !!!!

Ordered first time, glad I did. Crawfish etouffee was delicious. Shrimp grits was very very good. The cheese crawfish flatbread was very tasty. Packed well, I will be ordering again, very soon.

Stopped by for a "snack" because we already had dinner plans. Our first time here in the cozy restaurant. We did not even know this place existed. We were greeted by one of the owners and she understood we were not there for a full meal. She split our shrimp po'boy on two separate plates because she knew we were sharing. The po'boy was delicious...the bread, the shrimp, the coleslaw and remoulade sauce were fresh and tasty. Our side order of cornbread was delicious as well. The other owner brought us a taste of their crawfish etoufee which had a rich, deep, flavor. There were two other couples eating and I heard both comment on how good the food was. I wish we didn't live 5 hours away, as this would be a restaurant I would love to frequent.
